Clinical Experience

With more than 20 years of frontline clinical experience in Pediatrics and Neonatology, Dr. Bo has spent much of her career at leading high-end private pediatric hospitals in Shanghai. She has also undertaken advanced training and professional development at several of China’s top pediatric specialty hospitals.

Areas of Expertise

1. Pediatric Health Management

Dr. Bo specializes in comprehensive, systematic pediatric health management throughout the entire childhood life cycle, including standardized childhood immunization, evidence-based infant and young-child feeding guidance, comprehensive intervention for pediatric sleep disorders, and precise assessment and guidance for developmental and behavioral concerns.

She has a particular focus on the long-term follow-up of premature infants and low-birth-weight infants after hospital discharge, including catch-up growth interventions and long-term developmental support.

2. General Pediatrics & Pediatric Endocrinology

Dr. Bo focuses on the precision diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of pediatric growth, development, and endocrine disorders. Her expertise includes the diagnosis and management of short stature, precocious puberty, childhood obesity, thyroid disorders, and other pediatric endocrine conditions.

She also has extensive experience managing recurrent respiratory tract infections, chronic diarrhea, recurrent allergies, and low immune function in children.

Dr. Bo is proficient in applying the principles and techniques of Pediatric Functional Medicine, with particular attention to underlying factors such as the gut microbiome and nutritional metabolism. By integrating conventional pediatric medicine with functional medicine, she takes a root-cause-oriented approach to improving children’s overall health and constitution.

She provides children and their families with evidence-based, continuous, individualized treatment plans and comprehensive health management throughout the care journey.
